Part time Animal Associates are scheduled throughout the week depending on staffing needs. Employees are scheduled: Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm, with two weekends on and one weekend off. Starting pay is $13.00/hour for part-time and $14.00/hour for full-time with a review and chance of an increased wage after 90 days. Full time opportunities are based on performance and attendance. With full-time hours, after 90 days employees get 12 days of PTO per year. All employees get one free adoption, free vaccines and medications for their animals, and other employee discounts for shelter services once the 90 day probation period has ended.
